I love being a missionary! My mission has been really hard, what with Covid-19, going home for a while, ending up in Kansas instead of Chile, and returning to Chile again a month ago.

I love these verses because we know that one of the reasons we are on earth is to learn, grow and progress. We do the most learning through trials and sometimes we don't understand why or what we're supposed to learn from them.

I love the contrast of the darkness and the light in this verse. This verse reminds me that no matter how far off the path I think I've fallen, I can always be forgiven and return to where I need to be.

This last week I read a talk titled "Patience, a Key to Happiness" From Joseph B. Wirthlin in the April 1987 conference. As I read this talk I was looking to find ways how I can become more patient in thing because of the difficult time we are all apart of.

"It is not possible for you to sink lower than the infinite light of Christ's Atonement shines." -Elder Jeffrey R. Holland

"With men it is impossible, but not with God; for with God all things are possible." - Jesus Christ

One way that I find Christ in Christmas is through service! Christ shared his love by serving others and we can do the same.

What Christmas means to me has changed so much over time. I used to be obsessed with the presents as a little kid.

I like the name "The Good Shepherd" it really brings a cool perspective to me of who Christ is in my life. I am a very firm believer in the fact that we are all at fault in some points of our life.

When our life seems like it is in pieces, Christ can turn pieces into peace.

My favorite scripture from the Book of Mormon is Alma 33:16 "..Thou art angry, O Lord, with this people, because they will not understand thy mercies which thou hast bestowed upon them because of thy Son"

I really loved the talk "We will prove them herewith" by Elder David A. Bednar. I love this talk because it started off the conference by introducing the idea of self reflection.
