This last week I read a talk titled "Patience, a Key to Happiness" From Joseph B. Wirthlin in the April 1987 conference. As I read this talk I was looking to find ways how I can become more patient in thing because of the difficult time we are all apart of. And I love the quote from him saying. "We should learn to be patient with ourselves. Recognizing our strengths and our weaknesses, we should strive to use good judgment in all of our choices and decisions, make good use of every opportunity, and do our best in every task we undertake. We should not be unduly discouraged nor in despair at any time when we are doing the best we can. Rather, we should be satisfied with our progress even though it may come slowly at times" This really stuck out to me and had me sit and think for awhile. Sometimes I realize lately and throughout life that the person I have the least amount of patience with is none other then myself! I believe that if we can learn to lower the expectation and build patience for ourselves only will we be able to greater the amount of joy and happiness that we find within life. It is super important to be able to have as little or no barriers in our lives to receiving happiness and joy. I live the concept of Patience with ourselves I know that with self patience will come the strength and ability to grow patience with others and be able to show more appreciation to the blessing I receive from others!!
