This week I read a scripture that really stuck with me. It's one of my many favorites now! In 2 Corinthians 4:17-18 it says,
17 "For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;"
18 "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal."
I love these verses because we know that one of the reasons we are on earth is to learn, grow and progress. We do the most learning through trials and sometimes we don't understand why or what we're supposed to learn from them. I know that trials shape us, teach us and bless us eternally. They help us to reach our eternal potential and work for our good!
