I chose to serve a mission for a few reasons. One of them is because as I grew up as a teenager, I had a lot of friends that made poor choices that came with bad consequences. Occasionally, they would express to me an emptiness that they felt. I took a couple of opportunities to share the good principles that I had learned, and the closeness that I felt with our Heavenly Father, but I wish I had done more. These two years give me a chance to be 100% invested in helping people find the peace and joy that I have found as I have followed Jesus Christ.
