The truth that I hold closest to my heart is that Jesus Christ is the light of the world. He is the way that we can return home to our God, our Heavenly Father. They both love us. God loves us so much that he gave us his son, Jesus Christ, to pay the price that justice demands for our sins, not only that, but he can heal us emotionally, physically, and spiritually.
I have come to know that Christ wants us to forgive others, and to forgive ourselves.
I have come to know that this is true by the still small voice of the spirit of God that has confirmed these truths to me. I know that those who sincerely desire to know that Christ is their Saviour can come to this knowledge, if they ask God with real intent. I know this because I have seen this happen with people that I have taught on my mission. Ask God in prayer, and your prayer will be answered.
