These two amazing people have helped me so much in my life. They have helped me through thick and thin. They were there in my roughest days and in my happiest. And I know that they will be there for me for ever and ever. I've always wanted to gain a personal testimony for myself about the love the Jesus and Heavenly Father promise us. This experience happened when I was doing my at home MTC. It was the second day and I was not having a good day. I was so overwhelmed by all the things we were doing and I wanted to give up. At the end of the day, I had a TRC. Which is just a little side class to learn more about missionary work. We did an activity where we wrote down how we viewed ourselves. I wrote down some things how I am a hard worker and etc... Then, the teacher said for us to write down how we think Jesus views us. He said if we wanted we could say a prayer to feel inspiration. So I did. I knelt down and prayed. I have never really felt the spirit prior to this experience. After I prayed, I felt the presence of the holy ghost so strong. I just started writing. I didn't even see what I was writing because I was crying so much. After I stopped writing, I looked and saw what I had written. It was a full paragraph of how Jesus loves me and he's so proud of my for serving a mission. I knew and felt right then and there that Jesus and Heavenly Father loved me. I invite you if you haven't already gained a personal testimony to pray. I promise you will get an answer. You may not get it first try, but keep praying in persistence. And if you do that, you WILL get an answer. Sorry this was long, but I testify of the love our savior has for us. I say these things in the beloved name of Jesus Christ, amen.
