My favorite talk was "Recommended to the Lord" by Ronald A. Rasband.
Elder Rasband the importance of keeping an active temple recommend because it is a symbol to us and the Lord that we are living true to the promises we have made with him.
Elder Rasband said "Begin the process now to become “recommended to the Lord” so that His Spirit will be with you in abundance and His standards will bring you “peace of conscience.”
This weekend my companion and I had the opportunity to visit the London temple grounds with a lady who is returning to church after a long time of inactivity. It was wonderful. At the end of our time at the temple she expressed desire to prepare to enter and receive all of the blessings it offers.
The temple truly is the house of God and our spirits yearn to be there.
I invite you to take steps in your life to visit when they open again.
